What's the difference between coaching and Therapy?
Certain times in our life and journey call for different things. Therapy is useful when wanting to heal from your past, work with trauma, identify problems and solutions to move forward when your past is getting in your way, and overall healing. Coaching is most helpful when someone has worked through these things and want to get to a specific place in their life, personally, professionally or spiritually. Coaching can be everything you need it to be and will help you drive straight to your goals through attainable and actionable steps.
Can I work with you if I don't live in Kansas City?
Yes! Through Regroup Therapy, an online and HIPAA compliant tele-therapy service, I am able to work with coaching clients globally. As long as you have an internet connection and computer, we are good to go! For those seeking therapy services, I am able to work with anyone online in the states of Kansas or Missouri.
How much do sessions cost?
Coaching and therapy sessions start at $125 per session with the initial session at $150. I know it's a financial commitment so when booking services, I know you are dedicated and motivated to change. When paying out-of-pocket, I find you are twice as likely to show up, do the work, and make change happen because you are paying for it.
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately, insurance does not cover coaching; however, there are many affordable options. If you are an entrepreneur, talk with your accountant as this may be something you can write off. If you are seeking therapy services, Robin can provide you a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for Out-Of-Network benefits. *Please check with your insurance for your OON coverage.*
Who uses life coaches?
You would benefit from using a life coach personally or professionally if you are interested in your future. If you want to make and achieve goals and have healed from your past to propel you forward. If you want to see exponential growth, change your mindset, identify your passion and strengths to use in your career, or even in your personal relationships, coaching will be the piece that will get you there.
What will I have to do?
The first session will be an assessment of your strengths, barriers, current struggles and goals. Together, we will develop attainable goals to start working toward so that you can reach them in the time frame indicated. Sessions after the first session will include homework through readings, writing mission statements, practicing the skills learned in session and more. They will be focused on changing your mindset, learning new skills, and learning how to create the life you want.
